Basketball Recap: Fenwick Comes Up Short

After flying high against Berwyn/Cicero Morton last Monday, Fenwick came back down to earth. The Fenwick Friars lost 66-44 to the Lyons Lions on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Friars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 157th, while the Lions are ranked fourth).

Fenwick's loss dropped their record down to 14-18. As for Lyons, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Fenwick nor Lyons have any future games scheduled.
