Baseball Recap: Gilbert Classical Academy Starts Season with Win Against ALA - Anthem South

Gilbert Classical Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They blew past the ALA - Anthem South Titans 7-1.

Ryan Roco was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Roco was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Max Fioresi was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
