Royal starts season with win against Selah

Royal gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They never let the Selah Vikings onto the board and left with an 11-0 win.
The team relied heavily on Lily Delarosa, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and a triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Randi Allred, who went 2-for-2 with two doubles and an RBI.
Selah are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Royal will take on Deer Park at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Selah, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Othello at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
