Basketball Game Preview: Berlin Indians vs. Wausau East Lumberjacks

The Berlin Indians and the Wausau East Lumberjacks will round out the year against one another at at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Berlin is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Waupun just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Friday. They lost to the Warriors on the road by a 67-49 margin. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while the Warriors are ranked 33rd).

Meanwhile, Wausau East entered their contest against Marshfield on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Wausau East fell 77-65 to Marshfield. The loss put an end to the Lumberjacks' undefeated start to the season.

Wausau East's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-1. As for Berlin, their loss dropped their record down to 6-1.
