There's no place like home for Rawlins, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 48-46 victory over the Torrington Trailblazers on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rawlins to victory, but perhaps none more so than Damien Vialpando, who posted 11 points. Timothy Philo was another key player, putting up nine points.

Despite the loss, Torrington still got an impressive performance from Landre Greiman, who went 8-for-16 to rack up 23 points and five steals. The match was Greiman's third in a row with at least 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mac Hibben, who put up seven points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.

With the win, Rawlins broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-14. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points over those games. As for Torrington, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.

Rawlins wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 44-39 victory against Worland on the 1st. As for Torrington, they will take on Rawlins at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
