Soccer Game Preview: Guymon vs. Classen SAS

The Guymon Tigers will square off against the Classen SAS Comets at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Guymon's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Guymon fell victim to Bishop McGuinness and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Fighting Irish, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, Guymon can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma soccer rankings (they are ranked 90th, while Bishop McGuinness are ranked 25th).

Meanwhile, Classen SAS had just enough and edged out El Reno 2-1 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Classen SAS.

Guymon's loss dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for Classen SAS, the victory got them back to even at 5-5-1.
