Basketball Recap: Dominican Comes Up Short

Dominican was the 83-54 winner over Martin Luther when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Dominican Knights took an 81-71 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Martin Luther Spartans on Friday.

Dominican's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Martin Luther, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dominican will host St. Catherine's at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Martin Luther, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Augustine Prep at 7:00 p.m. Augustine Prep will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Martin Luther surely won't give up without a fight.
