Lake Weir had a senior duo take command as Jackson Quick rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown and Reche Shields threw for 154 yards and three touchdowns on only five passes. Quick got the majority of those yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible70 yards. Another player making a difference was Alcarlos Richard, who picked up 66 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Meanwhile, West Nassau never let their opponents score on Friday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 46-0 victory over Ridgeview. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

West Nassau found their leader in underclassman Avery Griffin, who rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 62 receiving yards and a touchdown. Andi Ataiza was another key player, rushing for 31 yards and two touchdowns.

West Nassau's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Fisher Johnson and Landon Scaff. With that strong performance, Scaff is now averaging an impressive 3.3 total tackles per game.
