Cypress Creek won the last time they faced East River and things went their way on Thursday too. Cypress Creek put the hurt on East River with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

Cypress Creek never let East River on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 26-24, 25-13.

Franklin Calix paced Cypress Creek's offense, picking up ten kills. Calix got some help from Kevin Rosa and his 16 assists. Anthony Nguyen controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Cypress Creek's record now sits at 4-1. As for East River, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.
