Softball Recap: Samson Takes a Loss

Samson lost against Red Level two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Samson fell 7-3 to Red Level. Samson has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kynlee Sormrude was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ally Zorn, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Samson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Red Level, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Samson will face off against Carroll at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Red Level, they will square off against Florala at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
