Basketball Game Preview: Central Christian Comets vs. Cuyahoga Heights Red Wolves

The Central Christian Comets will take on the Cuyahoga Heights Red Wolves in a tournament on Saturday. Central Christian will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Central Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past Temple Christian to the tune of 68-13 on Monday. The Comets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Cuyahoga Heights beat Brookside 41-36 on Saturday.

Central Christian's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Cuyahoga Heights, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-15.

Central Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Cuyahoga Heights when the teams last played back in February of 2019, winning 31-20. Will Central Christian repeat their success, or does Cuyahoga Heights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
