Elizabeth posted their closest win since October 6, 2023 on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Morristown Colonials , sneaking past 26-24. The victory was some much needed relief for the Minutemen as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Elizabeth to victory, but perhaps none more so than Arique Fleming, who rushed for 67 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 113 yards and a touchdown. Yvonsky Joseph Desir was in the mix too, providing Elizabeth with two touchdowns.

The timing is sure in Morris Knolls' favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Morristown has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
