Softball Recap: Maria Carrillo Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Maria Carrillo's offense. They came up short against the Hillsdale Fighting Knights on Saturday, falling 6-0. The Pumas have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Maria Carrillo saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rachaely Yaya, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Maria Carrillo's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Hillsdale, the win got them back to even at 5-5-1.

Looking ahead, Maria Carrillo will face off against Windsor at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Windsor has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Hillsdale, they will square off against St. Ignatius College Preparatory at 4:00 p.m. on April 7.
