Basketball Game Preview: Skyline Coyotes vs. Casteel Colts + How To Watch

The Skyline Coyotes will head out on the road to take on the Casteel Colts at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Skyline has given up an average of 63.9 points per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Skyline is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against West Point on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Coyotes had to suffer through a 76-34 loss at the hands of the Dragons. While losing is never fun, the Coyotes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 222nd, while the Dragons are ranked 39th).

Skyline's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Noah Reyes, who shot 83% from the field on his way to 15 points, and Isaiah Bowens, who posted nine points. Bowens also put up a block, which was his first of the season.

Meanwhile, Casteel entered their tilt with Eastmark on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Firebirds 70-42. The Colts have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 23 points or more this season.

Casteel's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Skyline, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

Skyline took a serious blow against Casteel when the teams last played back in February, falling 61-19. Can the Coyotes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
