Softball Recap: Empire Ravens vs. Seton Catholic Sentinels

The Empire Ravens beat the Seton Catholic Sentinels 8-5 on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Ravens.

Vanessa Grijalva made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off ten hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI.
