Soccer Recap: Commerce Comes Up Short

Commerce pushed their score to one the last time they played Summit Christian Academy, but on Friday they couldn't quite do it again. The Commerce Tigers fell 2-0 to the Summit Christian Academy Eagles. The Tigers have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meetings.

Commerce's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Summit Christian Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Commerce will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Central at 5:00 p.m. on March 25th. Summit Christian Academy will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Skiatook at 5:00 p.m. on April 4th.
