Volleyball Recap: Basha Bears vs. Desert Ridge Jaguars

Basha was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Desert Ridge Jaguars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in March.

While Basha ultimately came up short, they really made Desert Ridge work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-22, 21-25, 26-24, 25-20.

Matthew Kendler paced Basha's offense, picking up 12 kills. Kendler got some help from Brian Krummick and his 18 assists. Krummick also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Noah Lee, racking up four apiece.

Among those leading the charge was Easton Pedersen, who had 18 digs and two aces. That's the most aces he has posted over his last three matchups. Ryker Hawkins also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.
