Soccer Recap: Anson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Anson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 5-0 to the West Stanly Colts. If Anson were looking for revenge after losing 9-0 to West Stanly when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Anson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for West Stanly, their win bumped their record up to 4-8-1.

Anson wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 10-2 loss against Cherryville on the 2nd. As for West Stanly, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Piedmont on the 25th.
