Football Recap: North Takes a Loss

If North was feeling good fresh off their 21-0 takedown of Central last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs took a 27-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fairfax Stampede on Friday. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Stampede apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

North's loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Fairfax, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. North will take on rival South Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Fairfax is set to challenge their familiar foe Camelback at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
