Basketball Recap: Princeton Comes Up Short

Princeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Plano East Panthers 74-44. While losing is never fun, Princeton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 385th, while Plano East is ranked 25th).

Princeton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Plano East, their victory was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-4.

Princeton will square off against Rock Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Plano East, it'll be Eastside v. Westside when they and Plano West meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Plano West knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Plano East likes a good challenge.
