Basketball Recap: Basha Snaps 16-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Basha entered their game against Perry on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Basha Bears lost to the Perry Pumas at home by a 75-61 margin. If the Bears were looking for revenge after losing 83-79 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Basha's loss ended a 16-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-5. As for Perry, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-1.

Basha and Perry should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings. Basha (ranked fourth) will meet Pinnacle (ranked 108th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Perry will challenge Casteel at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 35 places (1 vs. 36).
