Northlake Christian waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They skirted past the Springfield Bulldogs 3-2. That's more bragging rights for Northlake Christian, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Stew Covey made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (he also didn't allow any walks).
