Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask San Fernando). They breezed by the Vaughn White Tigers to the tune of 85-31 on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 80-26 last Thursday.

Omar Chavez continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 44 points. Brandon Robinson was another key player, posting 21 points.

Vaughn lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kaleb Cano, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Joaquin Meza, who put up seven points and six rebounds.

San Fernando's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Vaughn, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

San Fernando will venture away from home to take on Canoga Park at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. San Fernando is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.8 points per game this season. As for Vaughn, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 66-45 loss against Triumph Charter on the 6th.
