Bloomington took a 38-point defeat the last time they faced off against Calhoun, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bobcats/Lady Cats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 52-49 win over the Sandcrabs on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bobcats/Lady Cats.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 7-10. As for Calhoun, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9.

Bloomington and Calhoun will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Bobcats/Lady Cats see the court they'll take on Karnes City at 5:15 p.m. on the 29th. As for Calhoun, their break will end when they face Eisenhower at 12:00 p.m. on the 29th.
