Volleyball Recap: Diamond Comes Up Short

Diamond lost against West Platte on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Bluejays by a score of 2-1.

Aubrey Ball paced Diamond's offense, picking up 12 kills. Ball got some help from Kenzie Crook and her 15 assists.

Diamond's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for West Platte, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8-1 record this season.

Diamond didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Cassville on the 22nd. As for West Platte, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Lamar on the 20th.
