Soccer Recap: Richland Takes a Loss

Richland was the 3-0 winner over Ryan when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Richland Royals came up short against the Ryan Raiders on Tuesday, falling 4-1. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Dylan Speaks, which was the first he's scored this season.

Richland's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Ryan, their win bumped their record up to 3-9.

Looking ahead, Richland will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Birdville at 6:30 p.m. As for Ryan, they will head out on the road to challenge Grapevine at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Ryan will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each game than the last.
