St. Peter's Prep (Jersey City, N.J.) bested Boston College High (Boston, Mass.) 56-0 while riding the arm of
Michael Rabasca, who tossed four touchdown passes.
After taking the lead on a Rabasca touchdown pass to
Charlie Callinan in the first quarter, the Marauders led 33-0 at the half.
St. Peter's Prep expanded its lead to 49 points entering the fourth quarter. SPP scored three times in the third, including once on a Rabasca touchdown pass to
Corey Caddie.
Rabasca and Callinan teamed up to form a dynamic passing combination. Callinan has now caught three touchdowns this season.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 35-19 win for the Jersey City school.
The defeat comes as a step back for Boston College High, which notched a 31-0 victory over Dartmouth in its previous outing. With the win the Marauders extended their winning streak to four games.
St. Peter's Prep (4-0) goes up against Union City in a Hudson County - National game matchup next week, while Boston College High (1-4) locks horns with Marlborough in a non-conference game.
