Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Great Mills Hornets, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They were beaten by North Point 42-0 on Friday. Great Mills' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Jameson Dyson threw for 80 yards on ten of 19 attempts. Taizir Keyes was his top target, picking up 50 receiving yards.

Great Mills' defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for North Point, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0.

Great Mills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. North Point will face off against Leonardtown at TBD on Friday. Leonardtown is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
