Softball Recap: Greenville Find Success

While Greenville's victory against Percy Julian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Greenville Tigers narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Percy Julian Phoenix 6-4. While the Tigers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Greenville's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Percy Julian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Greenville Tigers challenge Hatch Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Percy Julian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Park Crossing at 4:30 p.m. on April 1st.
