            Baseball Recap: Temecula Valley Golden Bears vs. Murrieta Mesa Rams        
        
		
        
        
            The home team had come away the winner the last five times Temecula Valley and Murrieta Mesa had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Golden Bears took  an  8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-1  on Monday.
 Grayson Martin was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  tossed six innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   four  hits.
 At the plate, Temecula Valley saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Stone Tucker, who  got on base  in three of his six plate appearances with one  stolen base, one  double,  and one  RBI. Another  was  Will Bandel, who  went 2-for-5 with one  run.
Temecula Valley's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Murrieta Mesa, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-7.
While Temecula Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday.
