Volleyball Recap: United South Central Comes Up Short at Home Against Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman

United South Central unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 3-1 to the Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman Jaguars on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rebels of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, United South Central will challenge Madelia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rebels are facing the Blackhawks at the right time seeing as the Blackhawks are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman, they will welcome Cleveland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
