Basketball Recap: Horn Lake Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Horn Lake and Hernando squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Horn Lake had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Hernando Tigers and fell 64-31. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost five in a row.

Horn Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 10-18. As for Hernando, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

Horn Lake wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 41-38 loss against Southaven on the 7th. As for Hernando, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-45 victory against Oxford on the 7th.
