Whiteville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-1. As for East Bladen, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1-1.

While Whiteville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
