Volleyball Recap: Triopia Starts off Right with Win over Barry Western

Triopia gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Barry Western Wildcats 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Triopia who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-23, 20-25, 25-11.

This is the second loss in a row for Barry Western and nudges their season record down to 22-12.

As of now, neither Triopia nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
