Recap: Fennville Blackhawks vs. Lawrence Tigers
The Fennville Blackhawks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They took a 46-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lawrence. Fennville has struggled against Lawrence recently, as their match on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Lawrence found their leader in underclassman Carolina Mancera, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mancera has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Camp, who scored eight points along with 14 rebounds and six blocks.
Fennville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Lawrence, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-4.
Fennville will take on Watervliet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lawrence, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bloomingdale at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
