Volleyball Game Preview: Chaminade Eagles vs. St. Genevieve Valiants

The Chaminade Eagles will face off against the St. Genevieve Valiants at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chaminade is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Tuesday, it was close, but Chaminade sidestepped Thousand Oaks for a 3-2 win.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (106-100) Chaminade actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-23, 25-20, 17-25, 15-13.

Meanwhile, St. Genevieve had to start their season on the road two weeks ago, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against Bishop Alemany, falling 3-0.

Chaminade's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for St. Genevieve, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Chaminade was able to grind out a solid win over St. Genevieve in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 3-1. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Valiants have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
