Football Recap: Harper Comes Up Short

Harper played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Johnson City Eagles, falling 49-26. The Longhorns haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Harper's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Johnson City, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-5.

Harper does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Johnson City, they will square off against Crawford at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates' defense has only allowed 10.4 points per game this season, so the Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them.
