Basketball Recap: Trinity Prep Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Trinity Prep can now relate to. They lost 50-28 to the Notre Dame Academy Irish Wolfhounds on Friday.

Notre Dame Academy found their leader in sophomore Jazlynn Brown, who dropped a triple-double with 30 points, 16 boards, and ten steals. The contest was Brown's 15th in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cara Amadi, who went 6-for-15 on her way to 14 points along with six rebounds and six steals.

Trinity Prep has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-16-1 record this season. As for Notre Dame Academy, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-6.

Trinity Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Notre Dame Academy, they will face off against Unity Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
