Morrisville-Eaton had won three straight games and Mason Marland did his part to make it four on Friday. The Mavericks simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the South Lewis Falcons 68-0 thanks in part to Marland, who rushed for 129 yards and a pair of scores on only nine carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 65 yards.

The team also got some help courtesy of Wesley Dimperio, who rushed for 76 yards and two TDs. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made six total tackles.

One reason for the win was Morrisville-Eaton's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Cade Zaleski was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. Morrisville-Eaton received some extra help from Marland, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Morrisville-Eaton's record now sits at 4-2. As for South Lewis, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morrisville-Eaton will square off against Thousand Islands at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Lewis, they will challenge Tupper Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
