Maddie Reitmayer leads Highland Park to victory over Niles West

Recap: Highland Park Giants vs. Niles West Wolves
The Highland Park Giants lost to the Niles West Wolves two weeks ago, but the Highland Park Giants didn't allow the Niles West Wolves the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Highland Park walked away with a 39-30 win over Niles West. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Highland Park.
Among those leading the charge was Maddie Reitmayer, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 16 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mckenzie Reitmayer, who scored 6 points along with 7 rebounds.
The win got Highland Park back to even at 3-3. As for Niles West, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Highland Park will face off against Maine East at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Maine East focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday. Niles West is on the road again on Friday and play against Vernon Hills at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. Vernon Hills is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
