Volleyball Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

Mountain View's tournament run continued when they took on Cheney on Saturday. The Thunder took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blackhawks. The Thunder have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Mountain View ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Cheney, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-8.

Mountain View has already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Seton Catholic on the 11th. As for Cheney, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-1 tie against Heritage on the 11th.
