Softball Recap: Proctor Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Proctor couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the West Rutland Golden Horde on Tuesday, falling 13-2. The Phantoms' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Proctor saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Graham, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Jada Hughes was another, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Proctor's loss dropped their record down to 12-3. As for West Rutland, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

As of now, neither Proctor nor the Golden Horde have any future games scheduled.
