After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last five games, Ursuline Academy finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They lost 18-1 to the Cabrini Crescents. The Lions' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Ursuline Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Guilbeau, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Ursuline Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Cabrini, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ursuline Academy will welcome Booker T. Washington at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cabrini, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Morris Jeff at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
