Recap: Thunder Ridge Titans vs. Middleton Vikings
The Thunder Ridge Titans's 21-2 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. Their2023 ended with a 68-50 loss against Middleton on Saturday.
Zoey Blackwell was her usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with six steals and five assists for Middleton. Blackwell hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. Elsie Wyatt was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six rebounds.
Thunder Ridge has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Middleton, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.
Thunder Ridge and Madison will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Middleton will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Borah at 7:30 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
