Basketball Recap: Santiago Takes a Loss

Santiago has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 39-34 heartbreaker at the hands of the Polytechnic Panthers. The matchup marked the Cavaliers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Santiago's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Polytechnic, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Santiago will face off against Los Amigos at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Polytechnic, they will square off against Providence at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
