Volleyball Recap: Lawrence Central Victorious

Lawrence Central won the last time they faced Purdue Polytechnic and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bears walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Techies.

Karis Barnes paced Lawrence Central's offense, picking up ten kills. Barnes got some help from Evaana Galbreath and her 18 assists.

When it comes to explaining why Purdue Polytechnic lost, don't look at Alyssa Hickman. Despite the final result, she had ten digs and one assist.

The win got Lawrence Central back to even at 9-9. As for Purdue Polytechnic, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.

Lawrence Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Indian Creek on the 20th. As for Purdue Polytechnic, they will welcome Indianapolis Crispus Attucks at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
