Baseball Game Preview: Warren County Tech Knights vs. Veritas Christian Academy

Warren County Tech and Veritas Christian Academy are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against Veritas Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Warren County Tech is looking for their season's first victory.

Warren County Tech came up short against Hopatcong on Thursday, falling 22-4.

Veritas Christian Academy kicked off their season on the road on April 11th and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 15-2 to Sussex County Tech. Veritas Christian Academy hasn't had much luck with Sussex County Tech recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Veritas Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bobby Meara, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Warren County Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Veritas Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Warren County Tech couldn't quite get it done against Veritas Christian Academy when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 15-10. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
