Basketball Recap: Cole Skates Past Randolph with Ease

Cole entered their tilt with Randolph on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Randolph Ro-Hawks, posting a 61-32 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Cole got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Logan Beckstrom out in front who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 boards. Beckstrom's evening made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jayvin Ybarra, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 14 points.

Cole's victory bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Randolph, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cole will take on Great Hearts Northern Oaks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cole is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.3 points per game this season. As for Randolph, they will face off against Long Creek at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Randolph is facing Long Creek at the right time seeing as Long Creek is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
