Volleyball Recap: Shrewsbury's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Eight

Shrewsbury put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Nashoba Regional Wolves. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Colonials also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Shrewsbury walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 18-25, 25-17, 25-13.

Gabriella Boyers paced Shrewsbury's offense, picking up 17 kills. Boyers got some help from Gracie Hester and her 21 assists. Lauren Albertson controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Shrewsbury's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Nashoba Regional, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Shrewsbury will head out to square off against Groton-Dunstable at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Nashoba Regional, they will welcome Marlborough at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
