Baseball Recap: Freeburg Midgets vs. St. Louis University Junior Bills
The Freeburg Midgets didn't have quite enough to beat the St. Louis University Junior Bills on Tuesday and fell 5-3. The Midgets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Joey Pruett was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Ethan Foster was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was his first of the season.
